Easter Dress....check

I finished it...I can't believe that I finished it! Kayden's Easter dress is done...yes done. And I made it by hand. The dress presented a lot of firsts for me...first zipper, first set of gathers, and first collar. And I must say, I am very pleased with the finish product. I used Butterick pattern 3762 and purchased a blue pique fabric from Jo-Ann's for the body of the dress. I altered the pattern some by switching out the collar from another dress within the pattern. The sash is a basic white Kona cotton. I was going to use satin fabric or ribbon, but felt that it was not the right texture for the pique. When Kayden tried it on tonight, all she can do was twirl around. I think she likes it although when I asked, she told me NO :)
