Happy New Year and Christmas Reflections

Happy New Year! What a holiday we had at the C household this year! Leading up to Christmas, I was busy as a bee sewing, creating gifts, cooking and decorating our home, while I dealt with a lot of pain. Well, it turned out that my gall bladder had to be removed and they did it on the 21st, just four days before Christmas!!!! My decision making appointment was on the 17th which left just four short days to prepare. Needless to say, I had a VERY relaxing Christmas and New Year recovering from the surgery and I am happy to report that I am starting to feel good again.

I was surprised at how well I did for the holidays considering that this was my first since my mother passed away in May...it always feels so weird to type and say that! 2010 was a VERY HARD year and I am happy to see it go.

So, on to some fun stuff. Here are images of a few gifts that I made:

An apron and handcloth set for Kristy

A tunic and ruffle pants set for my niece

Tutu bags for a few of Kayden's friends and my niece

And pajama sets for Mary and Mel

Thanks for stopping by!
